Yet you see international faces everywhere. COP 15 booths in the airport with friendly volunteers showing you the way to get around the city, COP15 buses humming along the roads…

This morning in the Bella Center the Conference of Parties 15 was declared officially open to formally begin the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.

Valerie is very excited to be writing for G 1Billion! Being naturally very inquisitive about everything happening around the world while struggling to make sense out of it, Valerie will be writing exploratory articles inspired by her experience in Copenhagen during the historical moment when COP15 takes place. My name is Esperanza Garcia and going to COP15 representing my country as part of the official Philippine delegation. I serve as Director of Global Warming & Climate Change Initiatives for the International Youth Council . I will also b writing for G-1 Billion , the youth press agency covering COP. I am the Development Associate for the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation , who is running the Youth Assembly at the UN.
